Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot presented the state budget for 2022-2023 on Wednesday, February 23. This state budget was the fourth presented by Gelot during his third tenure as Chief Minister. The budget speech contained several important announcements and several first-of-its-kind additions.
Sending out a wave of aid to the unemployed youth of Rajasthan, K. M. Gehlot announced that the recruitment process for 1,250 positions is underway and the call for another 1,000 positions is nearing completion. In addition, the Government of Gelot allocated Rs 800 crores to provide 100 days + 25 days of employment for the state’s unemployed population. The Rajasthan State Government will also upgrade and improve employment efficiency under the MNREGA scheme.
