I came across a news of yesterday that the Haryana government has postponed its plan to hold board examinations for Classes 5 and 8 until next year, getting opposition from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council of Indian Schools for Secondary Education (CISCE). The Chief Minister, made the announcement on Monday.
He mentioned that students’ schoolwork have been impacted by the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic. As a result, they’ve decided to postpone the board exams for classes 5 and 8 for the current school year. The board exams will be held the following year. “Schools have been asked to conduct examinations at their own level for the current session,” CM has stated.
I think the parents demand are right, because as a student my studying power would also have got hampered, indirectly it would affect my marks. So the CM has taken a right decision in my opinion.
