The basic difference between CBSE and ICSE education is that CBSE is a board, ICSE is an Exam which is conducted by CISCE. The subjects offered for study are almost same in these two.
As for CBSE , the curriculum is easy because CBSE has a prescribed set of textbooks and source extra study material for all the subjects unless absolutely necessary.
The syllabus of ICSE is comprehensive and structured to provide more practical knowledge and helps to build analytical skills in students.But in comparison to the CBSE its syllabus is tougher than ICSE.
So I think if CBSE would be better than ICSE board because its syllabus is easy to understand for students.
