To prevent cramming in schools, the CBSE has introduced Learning Standards Frameworks
Cramming means pushing people into a closed space, in this regard it means a large number of students are generally pushed or encouraged to only focus on the marks and theoretical knowledge and not on practical knowledge. So for stopping this CBSE has introduced a Learning Standards Frameworks. This framework will promote experiential learning and maximise the use of textbook knowledge in real-life.
The stakeholders required assistance in implementing competency-based learning. The board tries to break down NCERT Learning Outcomes and make teaching-learning in the classroom easier. “NCERT has produced learning outcomes for classes I to XII, and we are also working on a framework for classes VI to XII,” adds CBSE Director of Academics Joseph Emmanuel.
