Recently, on Monday, June 6, Education Minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan launched the “Digital Skilling Program” under the Self-Reliant India Digital Skills Program to make the youth skilled.
He stated that this initiative will help in building up a workforce of a crore skilled youngsters. This program will benefit the students from the 7th standard till the students pursuing graduation. The count has estimated up to 1 crore students. They will be provided internships, apprenticeships, and jobs in the areas of emerging technologies. The students will be bound by skilling, re-skilling, and upskilling in the same.
Major companies like Google, Microsoft, IBM, AWS, and many more have come forward in this program. The students would learn and get prepared to work on technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Cyber Security, etc.
Mr. Pradhan has requested the education technology manufacturers to prepare the study materials in Indian languages.
This program will provide skills to a vast group of youth in our country.
