Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister of Rajasthan announced that REET 2022, tentatively scheduled for July 2022, will increase the number of vacancies by 93.75% previously reported.
According to sources, the authorities announced 32,000 posts, but the number has now been raised to 62,000. Earlier this year, citing an alleged document leak scam, the REET exam was canceled, causing great frustration among students who had been diligently preparing for the exam.
In addition to this announcement, the authorities have also announced that candidates who applied to take the exam earlier will not be charged additional application fees. In addition, additional services should be provided to candidates, such as free road travel and private buses to take candidates to the examination room.
Due to controversy surrounding the REET exam this year, the government is planning to set up an anti-fraud unit within the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police.
