  • What's wrong with the government schools in India despite adequate funding

There are students who want to study, but they can’t because of a lot of reasons. I have the following observations:

They are socially, educationally, and economically backward, with no social environment that supports their development. They also don’t have any help from their illiterate or semi-literate parents. This school determines their fate, but unfortunately, the teachers are unaware of this. In these schools, teacher absenteeism is quite high. Despite being paid significantly more than private school instructors, they defraud the government and fail to fulfil their responsibilities as educators. Regrettably, nothing is being done to prevent this.

Apart from these, there are some more reasons according to me:

  1. Government school teachers are well-educated, yet they are inconsistent and unreliable. They are unable to communicate effectively.
  2. Proper amenities, such as bathrooms, are lacking.
  3. Teachers in private schools run campaigns every year in order to recruit more students, whereas teachers in government institutions do not.

AbhishekBharti I think Teachers are not showing interest..they do not monitor it personally..also unwilling people have been hired for this who have no intention to improve the conditions.

AbhishekBharti Lack of discipline, not in students, but essentially in teachers. They are themselves not interested in teaching students. They either come late to school or they even don’t come for days. This I have seen in my village’s school. So all together its the negligence of School teachers.
