I myself have been a victim of this. There was a point of time when I was utterly confused with the same questions. I read a lot about it and saw many videos regarding this. I came up with the following tips which just changed my life. They are:
- Make a list of all the topics that thrills you. It might be social science, mathematics, English, or something else entirely.
- It is less likely to happen that you will have a clear list of topics that you are interested in. As humans, we are adaptable creatures. Most of the time, when deciding on a job route, we become confused by our various hobbies.
- Write down everything, from your favourite study subjects to your favourite movie genres to your favourite novels to read, go into the depths of your self-awareness!
- Make your description as specific as possible.
- Examine the job title, prerequisites, responsibilities, and duties on a typical day at your dream job. Make a list of career options that are related to your field of interest.
- The more study you do on your hobbies, the better prepared you will be to make an informed decision!
- Now that you’ve completed your portion, it’s time to take an assessment test.
- We often believe we know ourselves better than anyone else, and we are frequently mistaken.
