As I perceive, how all the students participate and learn is what inclusive education is all about. Inclusion also includes experimenting with different teaching methods to ensure that all students are actively involved in the classroom. It also involves figuring out how to establish friendships, relationships, and mutual respect among all students, as well as between students and teachers at the school.

Definitely there is a need for inclusive education according to me. Following are the benefits of it as I see:

  • It provides more learning chances. When children of varied abilities learn in courses with other children, they are more likely to be motivated.
  • All of the children have higher aspirations. Successful inclusion aims to maximise a person’s talents and abilities.
  • It allows students to work on personal goals while interacting with peers their own age.
  • It encourages parents to participate in their children’s education as well as the activities of their local schools.
  • It promotes a sense of belonging and respect. It also allows students to become more aware of and accepting of individual diversity.

AshishSrivastava Inclusive education means all children in the same classrooms, in the same schools. It means real learning opportunities for groups who have traditionally been excluded – not only children with disabilities, but speakers of minority languages too.
