IEP is for Individualized Education Program, and it is a method of education in which the programme and classroom activities are created and planned according to the requirements of the child. This programme is mostly conducted in public schools and is provided free of cost.
The fundamental benefit of an IEP (Individualized Education Program), as I see is, that it allows a student to receive a normal education. This is why it is very important that the individualised education plan be constructed in such a way that it truly helps the child in the areas where they need it. The curriculum not only focuses on academics, but also on assisting students in overcoming behavioural, emotional, and social issues. This way, the child will not only meet the curriculum’s standards, but will also have the opportunity to participate as an equal member of the school community.
The child can rely on the support of specialists with expertise in relevant areas of special education as part of this programme. These professionals keep track of the student’s development, evaluate their accomplishments in light of short- and long-term goals, and do everything they can to ensure that the student has the finest educational experience possible.
Definitely it would affect a child’s confidence a lot.
