The Post Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders 2021-22 is a scholarship available to first and second-place finishers in graduation programmes around the country. The award is designed to encourage talented girls and boys to pursue post-secondary education and to help them pay for it.
The scholarship will be given to the top two undergraduate rank holders who are accepted into any postgraduate course.
The scholarship, however, would be dependent on achieving a minimum of 60% in undergraduate studies.
Students who have been accepted into a conventional, full-time Master’s Degree programme at any accredited institution, deemed university, private university, autonomous college, or postgraduate college are eligible for the scheme.
The scholarship would provide a monthly stipend of INR 3,100 for a period of two years.
