All India Services:
- Indian Administrative Service (IAS): Deals with the administration of the country, including policy formulation and implementation at the state and central levels.
- Indian Police Service (IPS): Responsible for maintaining law and order, crime prevention, and public safety.
- Indian Forest Service (IFoS) (recruited through a separate exam, but notification is with CSE)
Group A Services:
- Indian Foreign Service (IFS): Handles India’s diplomatic relations and represents the country’s interests abroad.
- Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA\&AS): Focuses on auditing government accounts and ensuring financial accountability.
- Indian Revenue Service (IRS) – Income Tax: Administers and collects income tax.
- Indian Revenue Service (IRS) – Customs and Indirect Taxes: Deals with customs duties and other indirect taxes.
- Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS): Focuses on accounting and financial management for various government departments.
- Indian Corporate Law Service (ICLS): Deals with the enforcement of corporate laws.
- Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS): Manages accounts and finances related to the defense establishment.
- Indian Defence Estates Service (IDES): Administers defense land and estates.
- Indian Information Service (IIS): Handles information dissemination and public relations for the government.
- Indian Postal Service (IPoS): Manages postal operations and services.
- Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS): Deals with personnel management in the Indian Railways.
- Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS): Focuses on accounting and financial matters within the Indian Railways.
- Indian P\&T Accounts and Finance Service (IP\&TAFS): Handles accounts and finances for the postal and telecommunications departments.
- Indian Railway Protection Force Service (RPF): Provides security for railway property and passengers.
- Indian Communication Finance Services (ICFS): Deals with financial matters related to communication services.
- Indian Trade Service (Grade III): Handles trade-related matters for the government.
Group B Services:
- Armed Forces Headquarters Civil Service (Section Officer’s Grade): Provides administrative support to the armed forces.
- Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli Civil Service (DANICS): Administers these union territories.
- Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli Police Service (DANIPS): Handles law and order in these union territories.
- Pondicherry Civil Service (PONDICS): Administers the Union Territory of Puducherry.
- Pondicherry Police Service (PONDIPS): Handles law and order in Puducherry.
