INTRODUCTION:
Indian Army Nursing 2021 exam is a National level entrance exam for four-year BSc nursing programmes. Only female candidates would be able to apply for the exam, which will be conducted by the DGMS or Directorate General of Medical Services (Indian Army). Female candidates will participate for a total of 220 seats across India.

Indian Army Nursing 2021- Important Dates
The Directorate General of Medical Services announces dates for Indian Army Nursing 2021 activities (DGMS). All the process, from application notice and registration to the issuance of admit cards, exam, and counselling are given below in the table, in accordance with the exam schedule followed by the conducting body. The applicants must keep a track of the dates of all the events listed below:

Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing 2021 Eligibility:
Who can apply?
Only Female candidates who are legally separated/ divorced/ unmarried/ widow without encumbrances are eligible to apply. However, before submitting the application form, applicants must meet the following eligibility terms.
Nationality -
All the candidates must be Indian nationals.
Educational Qualification -
She should have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent examination (12 years schooling) in the first attempt.
She should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a recognised board, university or examination body.
Must have opted for Physics, Biology (Botany & Zoology), Chemistry and English subjects in class 12th examination.
Those who are appearing in the final examination may also apply provisionally (if selected for the course, they will have to submit the proof of passing the qualifying examination with the required marks and subjects.)
Age Limit -
The applicant should have been born between 01 October 1996 and 30 September 2004 (both days inclusive).
Physical Standards -
The minimum height of the female applicants should not be less than 152 cm.
For Gorkhas and applicants belonging to the North-Eastern region of India, Garhwal, and Kumaon, the minimum height is 148 cm.
The candidates have to go through the X-Ray examination of the Chest and USG (of pelvis and abdomen).

Indian Army BSc Nursing 2021- Selection Process:
The Directorate General of Medical Services (Army) has a very strict selection process to select the correct candidates for the course.
Eligible candidates need to appear in the Written Test (CBT- objective-type). The test is of 90 minutes and covers the topics from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Intelligence, and General English.
After qualifying the written test, the conducting authority will then organise an Interview for the candidates.
Based on the result of the Interview and Written Test, the final selection will be carried out, which consists of medical fitness tests and vacancies in the army nursing colleges.

Steps of Filling Application of Indian Army BSc Nursing 2021:
Visit the Indian Army official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
Click on the ‘Officers entry apply/ login’ tab to register and apply.
For a new registration, candidates need to click on ‘Registration’
Select the ‘Continue’ tab and complete the registration process by entering the mandatory fields (Aadhaar/ enrollment no, candidate name, father/ guardian name, mother’s name, date of birth and mobile no) and ‘Submit’.
Now, provide the OTP received on your registered email ID and select the ‘Submit’ tab to continue
The next step is to fill the remaining mandatory fields and set the password.
Now, click on the ‘Save’ button to continue
Proceed with ‘Communication Details’ and hit the ‘Update’ button

The registration process is complete here. Candidates have to click on the ‘OK’ button as a pop-up message ‘Record saved successfully’ appears
Click on ‘Apply Online’ on the dashboard to fill the online application form
Here, candidates have to complete the remaining required fields, upload signature, and photo (keeping the specifications as prescribed)

Go through all the details, click on the ‘Edit’ button if required and ‘Submit Now’
The next step that applicants have to do is to do the payment through the link given on the payment screen.
“Candidates are suggested to make the payment only after activation of the link which will take between 24-48 hours after registration”
After completing payment successfully, enter the ‘DU reference number’ (provided by the bank after successful payment), select the written test centre, and click on ‘Submit’ to complete the application process
Fee Payment Details –
Candidates have to pay ₹ 750/-(for General, SC/ST, OBC, Transgender) as the application processing fee.
Take note of the bank reference number (DU number) for future correspondence.
The application is considered incomplete without confirmed payment of the application fee.
Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing 2021 Pattern & Syllabus:
The Directorate General of Medical Services will organise the examination in offline mode. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. The exam will have objective-type questions.

Salaries Offered in the Nursing Field:
Freshers in this field can expect a salary ranging from Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month.
The salary improves with experience. Candidates can expect their salary to be Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000 after 2 to 3 years of experience.
Highly experienced nurses may also get a salary package of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 72,000 or more than that.
