rajesh2203 actually i lost complete hearing from my right ear doctor suggested me use earing aid for my right ear now the question is am eligible or not alp and technician grade 3 fitter job
Ravindra rajesh2203 For ALP, the medical standard is very strict (A-1). It requires almost perfect fitness, and hearing aid is not allowed, so you need normal hearing in both ears. For Technician (Fitter), the standard is B-1, which is a bit relaxed. But still, proper hearing is important, and complete hearing loss in one ear usually creates problems in the medical test. You can check the official rule here: 👉 Indian Railway Medical Manual (Chapter 5 – Hearing Rules) So in simple terms, with your condition, ALP is not possible, and Technician also becomes very difficult in medical.
Ravindra rajesh2203 As per the official rule shown above, hearing is tested separately for each ear and the use of a hearing aid is not allowed in categories A and B, which makes strict hearing standards mandatory.
rajesh2203 In technician grade 3 still there is some C1 medical standard jobs for those I am eligible or not
Ravindra rajesh2203 For C-1 Technician Grade 3 posts, rules are more relaxed than ALP/B-1. But hearing is still checked separately for each ear at medical. There may be a chance for C-1 posts, but final eligibility depends on the Railway medical board.
