Exam Pattern-
A written exam will be conducted in order to qualify for the interview. However, the written examination will only be conducted if the number of applications is large.
The HPSC Lecturer Recruitment Exam pattern 2021 will be as follows:
- There will be a total of 100 questions carrying 1 mark each.
- Questions will be Multiple Choice types.
- There will be negative marking.

Age Limits-
-No person shall be appointed to the service by direct recruitment who is less than 21 years or more than 42 years of age on the last date of submission of the online application to the commission.
-The relaxation in maximum age for various categories is available as under-

Note: Relaxation in the maximum age for too the candidates belonging to the SC/BC-A/BC-B/ESM categories shall be available only where the post is reserved for these categories.

HPSC Lecturer Nationality Criteria-
To apply for the HPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2021, a candidate must be either:-
a) a citizen of India.
b) a subject of Nepal, or
c) a subject of Bhutan, or
d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
