Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is a state-level exam conducted by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) to determine the eligibility of candidates for Primary (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) level teachers in the schools of Punjab. The PSTET exam is conducted in two shifts for two papers - Paper 1 and 2. PSTET Paper 1 is conducted for candidates who want to become Classes 1-5 teachers and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to become teachers of Classes 6-8. Candidates who want to become Classes 1-8 teachers need to appear for both papers.

Now enter all personal and educational details of the candidate.
Upload the scanned document and pay the application fee.

PSTET Selection Process 2021-
- The PSTET selection process involves the following stages.
- Release of PSTET notification: The PSTET examination or selection process begins with the release of official notification. The PSTET notification is available as a PDF file containing important details such as eligibility criteria, the application process, important dates, exam pattern, syllabus and others.
- PSTET application form: The PSTET application form is released after the notification. Candidates need to fill out the form online. For successful submission of the application form, candidates need to pay the application fee of INR 900 for each paper (INR 600 for SC/ST/PH).
- PSTET admits card: The admit card is released around ten days prior to the exam. Candidates need to download the admit card by visiting the official website and carry it to the exam centre on the day of the examination.
- Conduct of exam: PSTET exam consists of two papers- Paper 1 and 2. In both papers, a total of 150 MCQs are asked for one mark each. The paper is of a total of 150 marks. There is no negative marking in the exam.
- PSTET result: PSTET result is announced by the PSEB on the official website of the exam. Candidates scoring a minimum of 60 per cent marks in the written exam are declared as qualified.
