What is TS TET? Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test, also known as TS TET is a state-level exam conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana for shortlisting the meritorious candidates who wish to pursue a career as a teacher under the Government of Telangana.

- Confirm your details and submit the form.
- Upload your Signature, Photograph and other documents.
- Now finally pay the TS TET 2022 Application Fees which is Rs 300/-.
- In the end, the application number will be allotted to you using which you can access all your Details.

TS TET Eligibility Details-
TS TET Eligibility Criteria for Paper-I
- Candidates having 10+2 or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% mark are eligible for this examination. For OBC/ PwD/ SC/ ST candidates, the minimum marks are 45%.
- Candidates must possess a two-year Diploma in Special Education/ 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B El Ed)/ 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/.
- OR
- Candidates must have a 10+2 degree from a recognized board or equivalent with an aggregate of 45% marks. For OBC/ PwD/ SC/ ST candidates, it remains to be 45% in the 10+2 examination.
- Candidates should have a two-year Diploma in Special Education/two-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ four-year B El Ed.
TS TET Eligibility Criteria for Paper-II
- Those candidates appearing for Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-II must fulfil the following criteria:
- Candidates must have completed their B. Com/ BA/ BSc with a minimum of 50% in aggregate. For OBC/ PwD/ SC/ ST candidates, an aggregate of 45% marks is essential.
- Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Education specializing in Special Education/ Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.).
- OR
- Candidates must have qualified BSc./ B. Com/ BA with 50% aggregate marks. OBC/ PwD/ SC/ ST candidates can apply with 40% aggregate marks.
- Aspirants must have a Bachelor of Education specializing in Special Education/ Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.).
- OR
- Candidates should have cleared four-year BA Ed/ BSc. Ed course with at least 50% aggregate marks. OBC/ PwD/ SC/ ST candidates can apply with 45% aggregate marks.
- OR
- Candidates must qualify for Graduation in Literature/ Bachelor of Oriental Language or its equivalent/ Post-graduation in the language concerned/ Graduation with Language as one of the optional subjects.
- Aspirants must also have cleared B.Ed. or have a Language Pandit Training Certificate. This criterion is required for language teachers only.
- Candidates appearing for the final year Diploma in Elementary Education/ Bachelor of Education examination are also eligible to apply for the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test examination 2022.
Primary and Secondary teachers who were appointed by a competent Local Authority/ Government before National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) notification are spared from appearing for Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test. However, teachers whose appointments were not approved by competent authorities to date and those who are employed in private schools are not excused from applying for TET.

Pass Criteria in TS TET-
The criteria for considering pass in TS-TET are as follows

Note-
With regard to Visually and Orthopedically disabled minimum of 40% disability only will be considered. With regard to Hearing Impaired, a minimum of 75% disability will be considered under the PH category.
The validity period of TS TET Certificate / Marks Memo-
The validity period of TS TET qualifying certificates for an appointment, unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana, would remain valid for life.
Weightage for TS-TET Scores in selection in Teacher Recruitment Test-
As per G.O.Ms.No.36, School Education (Trg.) Dept., 23.12.2015 cited under ref.1, 20% weightage is given to TET score in the Teacher Recruitment Test in the State of Telangana.
Number of attempts TS TET-
There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate can take to acquire a TSTET certificate. The official website states, “A person who has qualified in the TET examination may also appear again for improving his/her score.”
Age Limit-
There is No age limit.
Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) is conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana in order to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Telangana State. The TS TET examination is conducted for two levels- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The TSTET Paper 1 is for Primary Teachers who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is for Secondary Teachers who want to teach Classes 6 to 8. Candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 8 need to appear for both papers.
