Indian institute of Astrophysics invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Project Scientist-I
Essential Qualification: MSc in Physics, with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade (aggregate) from a UGC recognized university or institution.
Essential Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Astronomical data analysis. Proven expertise in python software development and data visualization tools.
Desirable: Experience in developing image analysis software for astronomy. Familiarity with FITS data format, Linux platform and software development environment, handling large datasets.
