Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission works on the distribution and supply of power. It is also related to the generation, transmission, distribution, and use of electricity and generally for taking measures to develop the electricity industry, protecting the interest of consumers and supply of electricity to all areas, rationalization of electricity tariffs, ensuring transparent policies regarding subsidies, promotion of efficient and environmentally benign policies, the constitution of Central Electricity Authority, Regulatory Commissions and establishment of Appellate Tribunal.
Applications are invited for filling up the Group A post of Dy Director/Distribution Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission Panchkula, on the basis of deputation for a period of 1 year which is extendable up to 3 years based on the performance.

The person who is working as an Engineering Cadre Officer in the analog/equivalent pay scale will be considered for deputation in HERC
Salary
- The salary will be under Level 15 of the Pay Matrix (118700 - 208400).

Please ensure that the names of recommended officers should not be under any kind of disciplinary proceedings under Rule 4(a) OR 4(b) of the Haryana Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules 2016 and also free from any type of vigilance enquiry and court cases.
It is also requested that only names of such employees may be recommended who can be easily relieved by the concerned department in case of selection.
