Himachal Pradesh Technical University invites applications for Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test 2022:
Exam name: Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET)
Course Name: B.Tech (Direct Entry)
Essential Qualification:
(i) Passed/appeared 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.
(ii) Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
(iii) Passed diploma (in Engineering and Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category)subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
Course Name: B. Pharmacy (Direct Entry)
Essential Qualification: Passed/appeared 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/ Biology subject securing at least 45% marks (40% reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
Course Name: MBA/ MBA (T & HM)
Essential Qualification: Passed/appeared bachelor‟s degree from recognized University with minimum three years duration securing at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

Essential Qualification:
(i) Passed/Appeared B.C.A/ B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE)/ B.Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree.
(ii) Passed/Appeared any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc / B.Com. / B.A./ B. Voc./ etc.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level.
(iii) Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
