Essential Qualification:
(i) Excellent academic record with a minimum of 55% marks (wherever the grading system is followed - and an equivalent grade under a point scale as defined by any affiliated university) at the postgraduation level - any Also obtained in the relative subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree obtained from an accredited foreign university.
(ii) National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission or its equivalent by the candidates who have been approved by the UGC as SLET/SET etc.
