ICMR Vector Control Research Centre invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Scientist C (Non-Medical)
Essential Qualification:
(i) 1st class M.Sc / M.V.Sc degree in Life science/Microbiology/Biotechnology subjects with 4 years’ experience in the areas of cloning, sequencing, immunological characterization, development and standardization of ELISAs, trouble shooting and field evaluation OR
(ii) 2nd class M.Sc. with Ph.D. degree in Life science/Microbiology/Biotechnology subjects from a recognized university with 4 years’ experience in the areas of cloning, sequencing, immunological characterization, development and standardization of ELISAs, trouble shooting and field evaluation
Desirable: Additional Post-doctoral research/ teaching experience in relevant subject in recognized Institutes, as evidenced by publications in reputed journals. Knowledge of Computer Applications /Data Management. Knowledge of Biosafety and research ethics.

(ii) 2nd class M.Sc. with Ph.D. degree in Life science/Microbiology/Biotechnology subjects from a recognized university with 4 years’ experience in the areas of production of polyclonal antibodies, maintenance of hybridomas, screening, monoclonal antibodies production, development and standardization of ELISAs, trouble shooting and field evaluation

Post Name: Project Technician III
Essential Qualification:
(i) 12th pass in Science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology OR One year DMLT plus one-year experience in recognized organization OR two years’ field/laboratory experience.
(ii) B.Sc.(MLT/Life Sciences) shall be treated as 3 years’ experience
