Online education system is boon in corona time but there are many challenges are being faced and it impacts on student & teachers as well.

Like students and teachers have not proper management for taking the class for example a good speed internet , mobile or laptops, and due to lack of technical knowledge they are interrupted many times in mid of the classes , irregularities .

These difficulties creates a lack of confidence in the student because students can’t interaction with their fellows and teachers. And the big challenge is that they are not able to do extra curriculum activities.

As I see, digital education has brought much comfort and convenience in this field and it’s not less than any revolution. However as I see there are some most common problems and loopholes it has. I have listed them according to my opinion:

  • One of the most important needs for digital education is that everyone has access to the internet. For easy access to information, the government will have to achieve this.
  • Providing equipment and technology to persons from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds so that they do not miss schooling.
  • Another issue is teacher training. Teachers can conduct digital classes only if they are technically proficient.
  • The government’s main goal should be to make digital more cost-effective.
  • To ensure that government schools and institutions have adequate digital classroom facilities.

        Recently, on Monday, June 6, Education Minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan launched the “Digital Skilling Program” under the Self-Reliant India Digital Skills Program to make the youth skilled.
        He stated that this initiative will help in building up a workforce of a crore skilled youngsters. This program will benefit the students from the 7th standard till the students pursuing graduation. The count has estimated up to 1 crore students. They will be provided internships, apprenticeships, and jobs in the areas of emerging technologies. The students will be bound by skilling, re-skilling, and upskilling in the same.
        Major companies like Google, Microsoft, IBM, AWS, and many more have come forward in this program. The students would learn and get prepared to work on technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Cyber Security, etc.
        Mr. Pradhan has requested the education technology manufacturers to prepare the study materials in Indian languages.
        This program will provide skills to a vast group of youth in our country.

        How can one avail the benefits of this program ? Will the students have to pay any kind of fees to get enrolled in any skill program ?

            All these details have not been published officially yet but if this program is in collab with NSDCs and Skill India Program, then it might be possible that the students can enroll themselves through Umang or Skill India program registration.
            This program till now doesn’t demand any fee to join.
            We will have to wait for the official release of the details on this.
