Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification:
1. B.V.Sc & AH or B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life Science with a minimum OCPA of 6.0/10.0.
2. M.V.Sc in Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology/Veterinary Public Health/Microbiology/Animal Biotechnology/ M.Sc in Biotechnology or any relevant branch of life science with a minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0.
3. Candidate eligible for JRF should have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent qualification as per new DST guidelines or qualified National Level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments/their agencies and institutions (OM: SR/S9/Z-08/2018 date January 30, 2019 and OM: SR/S9/Z-05/2019 date July 10, 2020)
4. Candidate should have knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level. The condition of knowledge of Punjabi upto matric level is however, relaxable, if the candidate is found otherwise deserving.
5. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology/knowledge/working experience in immunological/microbiological/biotechnological techniques.
