Rajasthan Public Service Commission invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Statistical Officer (Economics and Statistics)
Essential Qualification:
1. (a) At least second class Masters degree in Economics, or
(b) At least second class Masters degree in Statistics, or
© At least second class Masters degree in Mathematics with paper in Statistics, or
(d) At least second class Masters degree in Commerce with Statistics, or
(e) At least second class M.Sc (Agriculture) Statistics from a University established by law in India or Foreign qualifications recognized as equivalent therto by the Government.
(f) A certificate (RS-CIT course conducted by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited) awarded by Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota or any other certificate awarded by a comptent authority declared equivalent to above certificate by the Department of Information, Technology and Communication, Government of Rajasthan.
2. (a) with first class Master’s degree or Doctorate in any of the subjects specified as Educational Qualifications; or
(b) having undergone successfully two years training in Statistics at a recognized Statistical Institute or University; or
© having passed one year Diploma Course from recognized University or Institution having Statistics and Economics as optional paper; or
3. Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
Essential Work Experience: Experience of handling official Statistics at least for one year in a Government Department or reputed Commercial concern or University
