All India Institute of Medical Sciences Rishikesh invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in the Doctorate program. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Doctor of Philosophy

Educational Qualification:

Medical Candidates Qualification: For Medical Sciences:

I. MBBS /BDS degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or Equivalent percentile in Professional examinations

II. MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCH in Subject concerned or Diplomate of National Board of Examinations or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/DCI.

III. Master degree after BAMS, BHMS, BNYS for Ph.D. in AYUSH.

Nursing Candidates Qualification: Candidates holding an MSc degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent percentile in the Nursing specialty will also be eligible for Ph.D. admission to the College of Nursing.

Non-Medical Candidates: Master degree (02-year course) awarded by Indian University or equivalent in the subject as per the requirement of the project. Candidates holding MSc (Other than MSc Nursing), M Biotech/ M Tech degree / M Com / MBA/ MPH will be eligible for the non-medical qualification category as per AIIMS Delhi. Candidates possessing Masters Degree through distance learning courses shall not be eligible. Candidates having eligibility under non-medical category should have at least 55% marks or equivalent in the last eligibility examination qualified.
