Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in Doctorate Programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -
Course name: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
Essential Qualification:
(i) M.Sc./M.Tech. in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science/Nano Science and allied subjects, from a recognized University/Institute, with at least 60% aggregate marks for general category and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
(ii) The candidate should have qualified in CSIR-UGC NET (JRF only)/GATE or should be an INSPIRE fellow.
(iii) Specialization in Condensed Matter Physics/Electronics/Materials Science/Organic, Inorganic, Physical, or General Chemistry at the Masters degree level is preferred.
(iv) Students who have appeared for the final year examination and expect to obtain their results before 31 July 2022 may also apply.
