UM DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Director
Essential Qualification: A PhD in Basic Sciences.
Essential Work Experience:
(i) 10 years experience at the level of Professor in an institute of national repute.
(ii) A minimum of 15 years of experience in teaching and research, out of which 10 years must be as Professor in the pay matrix of Rs 1,44,200/- and above or equivalent experience in research in science and engineering in a research laboratory. The candidate must be an eminent person with an outstanding record throughout. Preference will be given to those who have worked in research centers or aided institutions of the DAE for at least 25 years.
Desirable: National recognition, Membership in the National Science Academies, receipt of prestigious awards in any specific academic area. Familiarity with the working of DAE is desirable.
