District Health and Family Welfare Samiti Birbhum invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Medical Officer General Duty
Essential Qualification:
(i) MBBS from any Medical Colleges
(ii) Must have WBMC certificate
Post Name: Ophthalmic Assistant
Essential Qualification:
(i) Passed Higher Secondary with Physics, Chemistry and Biology
(ii) Must have 2 year Diploma in Paramedical Ophthalmic Assistant Course or a two year Diploma Course in Optometry and Ophthalmic technique recognized by the Government of West Bengal
(iii) One year training after acquiring Diploma in Optometry recognized by the Government of West Bengal, in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical Establishment Act, 1950 and rules made thereafter.
(iv) Preference to be given to candidates who have passed from RIO and other Government Hospital with Government Stipends.
