ICAR National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Research Associate
Essential Qualification: PhD in the relevant subjects or Master degree in the relevant subject with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associate-ship/Training/other engagements. One research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/ NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal.
Desirable: Research experience in nucleic acids isolation and purifications, qPCR, NGS library preparation sequencing. The candidate should have sound knowledge in bioinformatics analysis of current genomics (NGS and microarray) and proteomic (LC-MS/MS) platforms data. Candidates with skills on Python and Java languages are preferable. The experience should be supported with published research papers in Internationally reputed Journals.
Post Name: Senior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification:
(i) Master degree courses in the relevant subject with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with two years of experience. OR
(ii) Master degree (3 years Bachelor degree and 2 years Master degree) in the life science with NET/GATE/BET qualification with two years of experience.
Desirable: Research experience in nucleic acids isolation and purifications, qPCR, NGS library preparation sequencing. The candidate should have sound knowledge in bioinformatics analysis of current genomics (NGS and microarray) and proteomic (LC-MS/MS) platforms data.
