Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad invites applications for the following post via Deputation/Direct recruitment:
Post Name: Deputy Registrar
Essential Qualification:
Official under the Central Govt. organizations/State Govt. organizations/Central Autonomous bodies/Govt. Research establishments/Universities/Govt. organizations of high repute
(a) (i) Holding analogous posts OR
(ii) With at least three (3) years service in the Pay Level-11(pre-revised PB-3: GP 6600) as Assistant Registrar (SS) or its equivalent position OR
(iii) With at least eight (08) years service in the Pay Level-10 (pre-revised PB-3: GP 5400) or eight years in Pay Level-10 & 11 combined as Assistant Registrar or its equivalent position. and
(b) Possessing Master degree from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade where the grading system is in place.
© Possessing knowledge of Academics/HR/Establishment/Finance /Procurement /R&D/ Administrative matters.
Post Name: Technical Superintendent (Artificial Intelligence dept)
Essential Qualification:
1. First Class BE/ BTech/ MCA/MSc in Computer Science/IT/Electronics or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience, (OR)
2. First Class MTech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience
Essential Work Experience:
1. Hands on Knowledge and experience on Linux operating systems (RHEL/CentOS/Fedora), Windows servers, Workload Management Systems - SLURM/Torque/OpenPBS; Distributed and parallel file systems - NFS/PVFS/Lustre; Networking and Security - management of InfiniBand/Gigabit switches.
2. Working Knowledge of HPC server hardware including but not limited to HP/Dell/SuperMicro/Lenovo configurations, Cluster Health Monitoring.
3. Knowledge/hands-on experience in design/deployment/management of HPC facilities/data centres.
4. Strong written and oral communication skills
Desirable:
1. Certification in any one of the following: LPIC-2/LPIC-3/LFCS/LFCE/ OCA/ RHCE/ GCUX/CompTIA Linux as on 01/10/2022.
2. Knowledge of power/battery/air-conditioning design and specifications for data centre design and development
3. Knowledge on C, C++, MPI, Shell scripting, Awk, Python will be an added advantage.
4. Installation, Maintenance and troubleshooting of open-source /commercial software;
5. Familiarity with website design/maintenance – HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript.
6. Knowledge in SAN, NAS Storage systems and Network Switches is an added advantage.
