  • 6 new courses launched by Delhi University School of open Learning including MBA

Admission in SOL 2022-23 in UG and PG courses will be started from Oct 2022, previously SOL offered 4 UG courses and 6 PG courses but after 28 years, on occasion on completion of 60 years of SOL they added 6 new programs, 3 new in UG and 3 new programs in PG.

Eligibility Criteria for SOL MBA 2022

Minimum Eligibility
Graduation with 50% marks from any recognized University in any discipline.
Selection Criteria
Merit for admission in the course will be prepared in the following manner
Category-1

  1. 80% weightage will be given of Graduation Marks.
  2. 20% Weightage of marks for Professional work experience of any reputed Govt. or nonGovt/Corporate Organization (No objection from employer is mandatory for working
    professionals).

The weightage of marks will be determined in the following manner:

i. 20% weightage will be given for minimum work experience of Four years or more.
ii. 15% weightage will be given for a minimum work experience of Three years.
iii. 10% weightage will be given for a minimum work experience of Two years.
iv. 5% weightage will be given for minimum work experience of One year.
v. 0% weightage will be given for work experience of less than One year.
Note: Candidates who have no professional working experience are eligible to pursue
MBA, but their merit will be considered only based on marks obtained by them in
Graduation.

Category-2: For MBBS/BDS/MD/ MDS degree holders or persons having experience in
Hospital administration with 2 years (No objection from Employer is mandatory in case of working
professionals).

Category-3: For Group A Officers of Govt. and Public Undertaking Organizations having
graduation in any discipline (No objection from the Employer is mandatory).

Category-4: For those having experience of 2 or more years in Corporate Houses/Hospitality
and Transportation Sector/Industry/Service Sector/Self-employed professionals (documentary
evidence is mandatory).

Preference will be given to Category 2, 3 and 4

Limited seats for MBA are offered by DU SOL Admission 2022-23

Generally, in DU SOL admissions, there are no seat restrictions for any program but in the MBA program, there are limited seats approved by AICTE. Except for MBA, all courses have unlimited seats.

In MBA total of 20,000 seats are there, 10,000 in Headoffice and 10,000 in centers.

There will be offline classes on Saturday and Sunday and they are some specific classes that which distance board gave a mandate
