The Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the CM of Uttrakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the National Education Polity - 2020 in higher education of Uttrakhand for academic session 2022-23 on Sunday. While launching, Pradhan stated, “ The new education polity has been prepared keeping in mind all aspects of human life. Under the NEP formal education of children in Bal Vatikas will start at the age of three and by the time they enter Class 1 they will be six years old”.

Uttrakhand was the first state in the country to launch the new education policy in primary education with Bal Vatikas. This will proven a good initiative for cognitive development of the students of the Uttrakhand.
