Objective of Rozgar Mela 2022

  • Provide 10 lakh job opportunities in 12 months

Today on 22nd October at 11 AM via video conferencing PM Modi launched a recruitment drive. This drive is named “Rozgar Mela.” During this, PM Modi will give appointment letters to 75000 newly appointed youth. Prime Minister will also address these appointees on the occasion.

This will be a significant step forward toward fulfilling the continuous commitment of the Prime Minister to providing job opportunities for the youth and ensuring the welfare of citizens. As per the directions of the Prime Minister, all Ministries and Departments are working towards filling up existing vacancies against sanctioned posts in Mission Mode.

The new recruits, selected from across the country, will join 38 Ministries/Departments of the Government of India. The appointees will join the government at various levels viz. Group – A, Group – B (Gazetted), Group – B (Non-Gazetted) and Group – C. The posts on which appointments are being made include Central Armed Force Personnel, Sub Inspector, Constable, LDC, Steno, PA, Income Tax Inspectors, and MTS, among others.

These recruitments are being done in Mission Mode by Ministries and Departments either by themselves or through Recruiting agencies such as UPSC, SSC, and Railway Recruitment Board. For expeditious recruitment, selection processes have been simplified and made tech-enabled.

    On 22nd October 2022, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave 75000 new appointment letters in the way to 10 lakhs new government jobs promised by the Central Government. While addressing the students and other government officials throught video conferencing PM Modi announced that the recruitments will be made among all the ministries including Home and Foreign ministry, in all the sectors like Agriculture, Education etc. for all the aspirants across the country.
    Highlighting the mission India at 2047, these vacancies will be filled in among all Groups i.e., Group - A, Group B (Gazetted), Group - B (Non-Gazetted) and Group - C. In forthcoming months, Youths of India also will be rewarded with more these type of appointments letters, time-to-time - PM stated. PM also targeted the NDA ruled states and UTs like Jammu & Kashmir, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Andaman & Nicobar Island for appointment letters via furhter Rozgar mela.

    PM Modi emphasised the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission and appreciated the efforts of Innovaters, Entreprenuers, Industrialistes, Farmers and other stake holders for their significant role in making India Atmanirbar. He further stressed the importance of skilling India’s youth under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana for a brighter future. Khadi and Village industry are the prime example of employment generation in the villages, he continued.

    On October 22, 2022 the Union Agriculture and Farmers welfare minister, Kailash Choudhary alloted the appointment letter to around 50 candidates selected for govt. jobs in various departments and organisations, Jammu. The candidates who have been handed over the appointment letters have been recruited in the Department of Posts, Central Researved Police Force, CISF and other organisation.
