The Government of Rajasthan allotted 36.56 crore rupees to set up digital libraries in 344 residential schools to boost e-learning across the state. Through this allotted fund, digital libraries and other necessary facilities for classes 9 to 12 will be provided in residential schools and other selected schools under various departments.
When and Why?
During the discussion of the Finance and Appropriation Bill 2022-23, the CM of Rajasthan proposed to provide eLibrary other other necessary facilities in resedential educational institutions under various departments and for 9th to 12th classes in selected schools. While proposing the e-Library, a total amount of 50 crores was suggested to invest.
Objective:
To raise and improve the way of e-learning.
To Provide benefits to students of low-income groups and ensure the speedy availability of books.
To reach the learning goals in the manner of anytime and anywhere.
In the view of the importance of Digital learning in current scenario, e-Library (Digital library) said as a helpful step to students of Tribal and village areas. The way of E-Learning introduced by the Rajasthan governemnt will prevent students’ boundation of classrooms and teachers. It will also leads to self learning.
