Alike the MP and UP Governments, the Government of Tamil Nadu and Tamil Nadu Text Book and Educational Service Corporatioln (TNTESC) have announced to release the MBBS course textbooks in Tamil by December. To provide the better conceptual clarity and understanding for students with Tamil language, the Tamil Nadu Text Book and Educational Corporation is planning to bring out 25 medical textbooks in Tamil - according to the allegd Report by the Times of India.
The TNTES corporation has translated four books - Gray’s Anatomy for Students, Guyton and Hall Textbook of Medical Physiology, Bailey and Love’s Short Practice of Surgery (Volume 1) and Mudaliar and Menon’s Clinical Obstetrics. The Chairman of UGC and AICTE M. Jagadesh Kumar tweeted in response to this effective step.
