Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc/Integrated M.Sc./BS-MS in Mathematics with exceptionally good academic record with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a scale of 10.0 or equivalent or 65% marks with a valid GATE/CSIRNET/NBHM/UGC score. OR
Master degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with exceptionally good academic record with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a scale of 10.0 or equivalent or 65% marks with a valid GATE score.
Desirable:
Very good knowledge of analysis and numerical solutions of partial differential equations
Good knowledge of numerical tools (such as MATLAB, Python, C/C++ etc.)
Good written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well in collaboration with others
