Punjab Agricultural University invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name : Project Associate-I
Essential Qualification :
(1) BSc/BTech Biotechnology/Agriculture/BSc Biosciences with minimum OCPA 6/10 basis or 60 % marks.
(2) MSc in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Genetics crop plants/Biochemistry /Microbiology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65 % marks.
(3) NET/NET-LS/GATE/other National level tests conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies.
(4) The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess PhD degree in the discipline required at Masters level, shall be eligible for the post.
Desirable : Candidates with experience in handling wheat crop, crossing, wide hybridization, handling sequencing and SNP-chip data and bioinformatics analysis.
