Indian Institute of Technology Mandi invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in Doctorate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -
Course name: Doctor of Philosophy/Dual Degree
Essential Qualification: Ph.D
M.Sc./M.Tech. degree in Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computing/ Data Science/ Computer Science/ Communication and Signal Processing or equivalent.For fellowship, candidate should be qualified GATE or UGC/CSIR NET or DST Inspire or other equivalent national level examination.
B.Tech./BE degree in Mathematics and Computing/ Computer Science/ Data Science or equivalent from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 on a10.0 point scale (or equivalent). National level examination is waived off for fellowship.
B.Tech./BE degree in Mathematics and Computing/ Computer Science/ Data Science or equivalent from Non-CFTIs with valid GATE or other equivalent national exam qualification (Validity required at the time of joining) and CGPA of at least 7.5 out of10.0 (or equivalent).
For Dual Degree (M.Tech. (by Research) +Ph.D.)
M.Sc./ B.Tech./ BE degree in Mathematics and Computing/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computing/ Data Science/ Computer Science/ or equivalent.For fellowship, candidate should qualified GATE or UGC/ CSIR NET or DST Inspire or other equivalent national level examination.
B.Tech./BE degree in Mathematics and Computing/ Computer Science/ Data Science or equivalent from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with CGPA>= 8 on a 10.0 point scale (or equivalent). National Level examination is waived off for fellowship.
