University of Calicut invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name : Electrician
Essential Qualification :
(1) Pass in IX Std. or equivalent standard.
(2) Certificate in Electrical Engineering issued after a course of study of two years from an institution recognized by Govt.
(3) Craftsman certificate from I.T.I. as Electrician, Wireman or Lineman (18 months course and 6 months in Plant Training)
(4) NGTE or KGTE group certificate in Electrical Engineering covering the following subject together with an apprenticeship period not less than one year in Electrical undertaking:
(1) Electrical Light and Power (Higher)
(2) Applied Mechanics (Lower)
(3) Heat Engines (Lower)
(4) Machine Drawings (Lower)
