Hazaribag District Jharkhand invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Full Time Teacher
Essential Qualification:
1. Graduation with minimum 50% marks in the relevant subject (the subject for which full time teacher is being applied) is mandatory from a recognized Board/University. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes and Persons with Disabilities category will be given a relaxation of 5 percent in the minimum marks mentioned above. Higher educational qualification and marks will be given priority in the selection. For physical teachers, a bachelors degree in arts, science or commerce with at least 45 percent marks from a university recognized by the state government or the central government will be mandatory. But for the candidates of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, graduation degree with minimum 40 percent marks will be mandatory.
2. B.Ed from recognized institution. Or equivalent examination like passing of teacher training examination in two years Diploma in Elementary Education, Bachelor in Physical Education/ Degree in Physical Education will be mandatory for physical teacher.
3. It will be mandatory to pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Government of Jharkhand for class 6 to class 8 under the guidelines formulated by the National Council for Teacher Education. TET is not mandatory for physical teacher. The validity of TET has been recognized by the state government for life.
