Lady Irwin College invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Assistant Professor
Essential Qualification:
1. A Masters degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant /allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR (exemption from NET shall be granted in accordance with clause (ii) & (iii) of General Note in the last section of this document).
The Ph.D degree has been obtained from a foreign University/Institution with a ranking among top 500 in the world University ranking (at any time) by any one of the following:
(a) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)
(b) The Times Higher Education (THE) or

3(a) Masters Degree in Home Science/ Botany/Zoology/ Physics/ Chemistry/Environmental Science with minimum 55% Marks and
(b) Masters Degree in Education- M.Ed Degree with minimum 55% marks

4(a) Masters Degree in any discipline with not less than 55% of marks
(b) M.Ed. Degree in specific disability (ID/MR) area with not less than 55% of marks Or an Equivalent grade of B+ in 10 point scale of UGC OR An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI. Valid registration with RCI u/s 19 of RCI Act, 1992 is essential
5. For Lecturer in Architecture and Interior Design: Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture/ Urban Planning / Design with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent in either Bachelor’s or Masters degree.
