Indian Army invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Religious Teacher Junior commission Officer
Essential Qualification: The minimum educational qualification required is as under :-
(i) RT Pandit and Pandit (Gorkha) for Gorkha Regiment Hindu Candidate with Shastri Acharya in Sanskrit from UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have under mentioned religious qualification:- Karam Kand as one of the main/ core subject Shastri/ Acharya. during OR One year Diploma in Karam Kand.
(ii) RT Granthi. Sikh Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have degree of Gyani in Punjabi. .
(iii) RT Maulvi (Shia) for LADAKH SCOUTS only and RT Maulvi. Muslim Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have Alim in Arabic or Adeeb-e-Mahir/ Urdu Mahir in Urdu.
(iv) RT Padre. Christian Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and be on the approved list of the local Bishop.
(v) RT Budhist. Budhist Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have been ordained as Monk/Budhist Priest by an Appropriate Authority. The term Appropriate Authority will mean Head Priest of the Monastery where the person has been initiated into priesthood. The Head Priest should be in possession of Geshe (Ph.D) of Khanpa or Lopon or Rajbam with proper certificate from Monastery.
Post Name: Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer )
Essential Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for appointment of Havildar (SAC) is as under :-
BA/BSc with Mathematics and should have passed 12 (th) Class (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects (min 50% marks in each of them).OR
Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) degree in Civil Electronic /Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical Computer Technology / Computer Science from any recognized university and should have passed 12 (th) Class (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects (min 50% marks in each of them).
