Post Name: Junior Research Fellow-1
Essential Qualification:
Masters in Life Sciences (Virology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics/ Neurosciences or related subjects)
Qualified national level examination conducted by ICMR/CSIR/UGC/ DBT/DST or equivalent
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience of
NGS techniques for sequencing of viruses and NGS data analysis (bioinformatics)
Experience of working in BSL 2 laboratory
Performing laboratory assays like ELISA and Real time PCR
Mammalian cell culture techniques
Maintenance of project records in laboratories, Documentation, Computer skills

Essential Qualification:
MVSc (Vety. Microbiology/Biotechnology)/ MSc (Agri. Biotechnology/ Agri. Microbiology)/ MFSc (Microbiology)/ Postgraduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics etc)
Qualified national level examination conducted by ICMR/CSIR/UGC/ DBT/DST or equivalent
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience of
Molecular techniques (PCR, Real Time PCR and downstream applications)
Immunological techniques
Virus sequencing techniques and bioinformatics
Mammalian cell culture techniques, isolation of viruses
Rabies diagnostic techniques
Experience of working in BSL 2 laboratory
Maintenance of project records in laboratories, Documentation, Computer skills
