NIFT 2022 Important Dates:

Start date to fill NIFT application forms	December 3, 2021,	The online application is now OPEN.
Last date to submit application form without late fee	January 17, 2022	The application fee is Rs 2,000 for General/ OBC (non-creamy layer) students and Rs 1,000 for SC/ ST/ PHP category candidates.
Last date to submit applications with late fee	January 18-22, 2022	The late fee is Rs 5,000.
Download NIFT entrance exam admit card online	January 29, 2022,	On exam day, bring a valid photo ID along with the admit card.
NIFT entrance exam day	February 6, 2022	NIFT entrance exam will be held in different cities across India in offline mode.
NIFT answer key for GAT	2nd week of February 2022	NIFT Entrance Exam answer key 2022 will be released on the official website of the exam. Candidates can also check and raise objections against the answer key on the official website.
Declaration of result for NIFT written exam	Mid-March 2022	NIFT exam result will be released on the official website for BDes, MDes, MFT and MFM courses. Candidates can check NIFT results by providing details such as roll number, the application number and date of birth.
Registration for situation test starts (for BDes programme)	March 2022	NIFT registration 2022 for situation test for BDes programme will commence on the official website.
Admit card for situation test	March/April 2022	NIFT admit card for situation test for BDes admissions will be released on the official website.
Situation Test for BDes	April 2022	NIFT situation test for BDes courses will be held as per the prescribed schedule. In 2021, the test was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Interview	April 2022	Usually, personal interview rounds are held in offline mode. However, last year due to COVID-19, the interviews for MDes, MFM and MFTech courses were held in online mode. No group discussion round was held last year.
Final BFTech result	May 2022	NIFT final result 2022 for BFTech admissions will be announced on the official website.
Final merit list for MDes, MFTech & MFM	May/June 2022	Final result for NIFT PG admissions will be announced as per the prescribed schedule. Candidates can check the NIFT Entrance Exam result on the official website of the design school using login credentials.
Final merit list for BDes	May/June 2022	Candidates can check the NIFT final merit list on the official website of the design school using login details.
Registration for NIFT counselling	June/July 2022	Candidates can register on the official website to participate in NIFT Entrance Exam counselling.
NIFT counselling	June/July 2022	The NIFT Entrance Exam counselling will commence as per the prescribed schedule. The counselling is usually held in offline mode. However, last year, it was held completely online due to COVID-19.
