Life Insurance Corporation of India Housing Finance Limited (LIC HFL) keeps on releasing notification for the recruitment of young Indians for the posts of Assistant, Associate and Assistant Manager. In this article, we will discuss the recruitment process for various posts in LIC HFL.
Eligibility Criteria:
A. Nationality: A candidate must be an Indian.
B. Age: Ranges from 21 to 28 years.
C. Educational Qualification:

Selection Procedure:
There will be a single-stage computer-based online test followed by an interview.
a. Online Examination:
It consists of a total of 200 multiple-choice questions carrying a maximum of 200 marks for a total duration of two hours. The questions in the test consist of the following sections:

B. Interview:
Candidates who qualify Computer Based Online Test are called for an Interview.
Final Selection:
The final merit list for the selection of candidates will be separate for each post of Assistant, Associate and Assistant Manager and will be prepared by adding the marks obtained in the interview with the marks obtained in the online test.
Medical Examination:
Selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant/Associate/Assistant Manager if found medically fit during the pre-recruitment medical examination.
Probation Period:
For the candidates of Assistant/Associate post, it will be 6 months from the date of joining.
There will be a training period of 1 year for the candidates from the date of joining as Management Trainee, before appointment as Assistant Manager. During this, a consolidated salary of Rs 25,000/- per month will be given.
On successful and satisfactory completion of the training period, a candidate will be appointed to the post of Assistant Manager. There will be a probationary period of 1 year from the date of appointment as Assistant Manager.
Posting:
Candidates applying for the post of Assistant/Associate will be preferably posted in that region subject to requirement and suitability whereas candidates applying for the post of Assistant Manager may be posted anywhere in India depending upon the requirement of the Company.

How to Apply for LIC HFL Recruitment Examination:
The application process will be categorised into 2 stages:
A. Application Registration:
Before applying, a candidate must have
(i) scanned images of his/her recent passport size, coloured photograph, signature, left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration (in English and in blue or black ink on white paper).
The text for handwritten declaration is as follows:
“I, __ (Name of candidate) __, hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
(ii) a valid and active personal email ID and mobile number. LIC HFL verifies these details by sharing the registration and password and can use it to send the call letters for the exam and interview.
Steps:
- Visit the LIC HFL’s website: [([www.lichousing.com](https://))] and click on Tab ‘’Careers”.
- Now go to the “Job Opportunities” Link and open the links ‘’RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANTS/ASSOCIATES/ASSISTANT MANAGERS’’. It will redirect you to the online registration page.
- Select the tab “Click here for new registration” and fill in the required information mentioned there correctly.
- Thereafter, a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
- Now login with Provisional Registration Number and Password and fill in the details carefully and click on ‘Verify your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ tabs.
- Now upload the scanned images of the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration.
- Then click on the ‘Preview Tab’ to preview and verify the entire application form.
- After ensuring that the photograph, signature and other details uploaded by you are correct, click on the ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ tab to proceed to the next step.
B. Payment of fees:
- A candidate has to pay the application fee/intimation fee (non-refundable) through online mode only. Payment can be made using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets.
- On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated.
- After successful payment of the fee, a confirmation page will be generated for the candidate. They can use it for further recruitment processes in the future.
Issue of call letters and Online Examination:
- Candidates need to visit the LIC HFL’s website: [([www.lichousing.com](https://))] .
- An eligible candidate can download their call letters for Computer-Based Online Tests (CBT) by giving details about (i) Registration Number, (ii) Password and (iii) Date of Birth.
- Candidates must affix a recent recognisable photograph on the printed call letter.
- Candidates will have to appear at the examination centre with (i) a call letter (ii) original photo identity proof issued by the Govt. Authorization and photocopy of the same photo identity proof which is brought in the original.
- A candidate will have to appear for the examination on the date given in the respective call letter/admit card at his own risk and expense.
Biometric Data Verification:
The biometric data and photograph of the candidate will be captured and verified by the organisation during the examination, interview and training processes. In case of a mismatch of these data, the candidate may be denied or debarred from the recruitment processes. Hence the candidates are advised to take care of their identity while uploading the documents and taking fingerprints during the examination.
