If you have done the final submission, you can’t change anything.

There are various mistakes that we do while filling a form:

  • Mother/Father Name Mistake

  • Applicant Name Mistake

  • Roll No Mistakes

  • % of Academics mistakes

But don’t worry if there are some minor mistakes like wrong marks or something, you can request to them for that at the time of Document verification and normally they let you change or you may also attach some affidavit for that.

    You can correct these mistakes at the time of document verification. There is no need to be panic about the situation.

        DhanushR After the closing date for receipt of online applications, the Commission will provide a period of 2 days to enable candidates to correct/ modify online application parameters, wherein candidates will be allowed to re submit applications after making requisite corrections/ changes in the one-time registration/ online application data as per their requirement. A candidate will be allowed to correct and re-submit his modified/ corrected application two times during the ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ i.e. if he has made a mistake in his updated application also, he will be allowed to re-submit one more modified/ corrected application after making requisite corrections/ modifications. No more corrections in the application form will be allowed under any circumstances. Don’t worry you can make changes when the ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ will open.

          Hlo sir, kindly help me… I done a big mistake, filling mts form… they ask 10th pass certificate serial no. But by mistake I submitted 12th pass certificate serial.no… Last date also gone… is there any solution for this problem???… What if I met any secratary office? or any affidavit..?

            Lohit Sorry but no correction is allowed after the expiry of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’, no change/ correction/modification will be allowed under any circumstances. Requests received in this regard in any form like Post, Fax, Email, by hand, etc. shall not be entertained by the Commission and will be summarily rejected.

              @RajeshKaushal LuckyRaj i recently filled ssc chsl form and now i realised that i had made a mistake in filling application form which is (have you limitation to write )- i have choosen yes but next i have choosen scribe not required amd thats it will it affect me if yes then how can i correct it please reply me

                  It will not affect your examination, it’s just that you have to attempt your examination on your own.

                  According to the official notification -

                  • Who are eligible for use of a scribe but not availing the facility of a scribe will be given compensatory time of
                    20 minutes per hour of examination.
                    You have to attempt your own paper and you will get 20 mins extra per hour to complete the examination. it means that if the examination is 60 minutes, you will get 80 minutes to attempt it.

                      PoojaSingh i have not limitation to write or anything so i have not medical certificate then what proof i will show at the centre for limitation and if i will get extra time then at last at time of verification my candidature will be cancelled please suggest me something what should i do now ? i shall always be thankful to you

                          raajankesh5 I don’t think so there is anything you can do now because the Window for Application Form Correction date also expires. The limitation to writing was only for PWD candidates and as you are not physically disabled so I think you are not even allowed to attempt the examination as they also check the certificate at the examination center. Don’t worry try next time to fill out the form consciously with the help of the Process of filling online SSC CHSL application form with clear details.

                            Hi Raajan ,
                            As per my knowledge the correction window was open on 14 and 15th of June 2023 and there is no such provision after the window closes but you can still try to mail SSC regarding the mistake you have done in application form . As per the official notification a candidate applying from disabled category will not be allowed to attempt examination without medical certificate and even if you somehow manage to opt as a general candidate, you will still be disqualified in document verification phase .

                              RajeshKaushal in ssc reg form 10th pass year is filled as 2012 instead of 2013..due to typing error..and in father name there is spelling mistake…will they pass me with affidavit

                                  For some mistakes, SSC provides you with an application to be filled out at the time of verification. For some minor mistakes, they accept an affidavit, and for some other mistakes, nothing can be done. You need to contact their regional headquarters for your particular problem.
