What is AFCAT?
AFCAT is the full form of the Air Force Common Admission Test. This is a national level examination conducted by Indian Air force for the recruitment of Grade ‘A’ Officers. This Exam is conducted twice a year for recruiting the ‘Technical & Non-Technical’ branches of the Indian Air Force.
AFCAT is a great opportunity for both male and female candidates who want to join the Indian Air Force. This exam is for both the services as Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission/Short Service Commission in Ground Duties, for both Technical and Non-Technical roles.

Age Limit | (i) For Flying Branch: Candidates should be between 20 and 24 years. The upper age limit for candidates having a CPL is relaxed up to 26 years (ii) For Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical): Between 20 and 26 years |
Marital Status | Candidate should be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course Widows/Widowers and divorcees below 25 years are also not eligible Married candidates above 25 years are eligible to apply, but during their training period, they are neither provided married accommodation nor can they live with family |
