UPSSSC PET is an exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC). The commission released the notification of this exam for the first time in the year 2022. UPSSSC PET exam is conducted as an Eligibility Test for the recruitment of Group B and C posts. The UPSSSC PET exam will be qualifying in nature. The scorecard of the PET examination will be valid for only one year.

Exam Pattern
The exam pattern as released for the PET is as follows:

  1. The exam consists of objective type Multiple choice questions

  2. The total number of questions will be 100.

  3. The time duration of the examination shall be 2 hours.

  4. There is a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks for each wrong answer.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for UPSSSC PET must fulfill the following eligibility criteria. The Eligibility criteria is mentioned below:-

  1. The candidates who have passed High school/ class 10th or any other equivalent exam can apply for UPSSSC PET while those who have not passed High school cannot apply.

  2. The Candidates must be of Indian nationality. It is not required that the candidate must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh.

Age Limit:

The age of the candidate must be between 18 to 40 years as of 1st July in the year the exam is conducted.

Jebakhatun UPSSSC Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services selection Board has issued the notification for the recruitment of Rajaswa Lekhpal vacancies. There are a total of 8085 posts of Lekhpal. The candidates, who have qualified the PET exam are only eligible for this vacancy. There will be another written examination for this job purpose.

The final selection will depend on the performance of the candidates in the written examination.
