I filled the SSC CGL form today. But I mistakenly selected the option of No in age relaxation. I am 30 plus and I belong to the OBC category. Please what can I do now?

roshan1234 Since you selected “No” for Age Relaxation by mistake and the OTR correction window is closed, follow these steps:

🔁 Step-by-Step Solution:

Create a new email ID and mobile number.
Register a fresh OTR on https://ssc.gov.in
(You must create a new OTR because the previous one can’t be edited now.)
While creating the new OTR:
- Select Category: OBC
- Choose “Yes” for Age Relaxation
Fill the SSC CGL 2025 form again using this new OTR.
Appear in the exam using only this new application.
- Do not use the old application (it will be considered ineligible).

⚠️ Note:

If you use the old application, your candidature may be rejected during document verification due to age limit.

And then in 2024
So mistakenly I gave my number of attempts as 1 .

SSC does not have any attempt limit for exams like CGL, CHSL, MTS, etc., so this mistake won’t affect your eligibility. As long as you meet the age and qualification criteria, your form is safe. Akarsh If you applied for SSC JE during the extended deadline and you have a one-arm disability, there should be no issue as long as you hold a valid government disability certificate (40% or above).
